...More about Jamie
Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me. I graduated with a master's degree from seminary at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2006, where I studied pastoral care and counselling, and soon began my counselling work.

I am a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and a member of the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care. I work from an eclectic clinical orientation, drawing heavily upon psychosynthesis, grief and existential therapies for the psycho-spiritual health of the people I work with.

In 2015 I completed my arduous Clinical Pastoral Education training (CPE) at the advanced level with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (formerly known as CAPPE) – the governing body responsible for training and certifying chaplains across Canada. In 2014 I completed spiritual direction training at the Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre in Niagara Falls to deepen my counselling ministry.
I am a clinical counsellor with special training in spiritual care. I am able to address the psychological, emotional and spiritual dimensions of the human person that are always intimately intertwined in the process of healing and recovery. I am from the Christian tradition and engage a spirit of ecumenism and inclusivity in my work.
